Hey, I'm Tiny. And I'm really good at giving gifts.
A while back, a dear friend told me just that — and suggested I open a gift shop. The idea stuck with me, but life had other plans. Between being a wife, a mom to two incredible kids, and a caretaker for my grandmother, a brick-and-mortar shop just wasn't in the cards. So I did the next best thing: I curated my own online gift shop, right from home.
That's how MAISON Tiny was born.
Why Maison? Why Tiny?
The name is very much us. Tiny is what my husband, family, and close friends have called me for years — not because I'm particularly small, but because standing next to my husband (who is a whole foot taller than me), I look it. It stuck, and honestly, I love it.
Maison — French for 'house' or 'home' — comes from my other great love: the French language. I hold a PhD in French, and our household is full of francophiles. And of course, we're rooted in New Orleans, a city with a rich French history and a culture built around celebration, togetherness, and joie de vivre. It felt like the perfect fit.
